Orientation Video Production Edmonton

I’m Stu Becker, the proud owner of Ambient Film Productions.

I look forward to sharing a bit of my history, my passions in life and how I approach my work. I hope that you will enjoy getting to know me better.

I have been passionate about film making from a young age, so when I got a chance to enter the motion picture industry in 1998, I was thrilled. Since then, I have worked on major Hollywood films such as Prometheus, The Amazing Spiderman, Priest, Ghostrider 2, Harry Potter, and many more, as well as Canadian and American television series, and made-for-TV films.

I combined my love for videography and years of experience as a  filmmaker and formed Ambient Film Productions in 2002. Ambient specializes in creating high-quality safety, training, and marketing videos. Until seven years ago, we offered services to the motion picture industry exclusively, primarily in the role of Location Management. However, we no longer perform this work, and over the past few years, we have been solely focusing on delivering high standard safety and corporate training videos.

Our long-term mission is to create videos for our clients in the best manner possible. To ensure this happens, we continue to seek new opportunities to grow our quality of production. Moreover, we are committed to meeting our clients’ specific requirements and integrate honesty and integrity into all aspects of our business functioning.

While we are continually updating our knowledge and improving our services, we have already experienced our fair share of success. This is mainly due to our ability to listen to client needs and maintain lasting bonds with them. Our success has earned us numerous industry recognitions, but we are most proud of having won the Trailblazer Award from the Alberta Construction Safety Association in 2016. The Trailblazer Award recognizes organizations that demonstrate their commitment to enhancing workplace safety and their dedication in promoting health and safety within the communities they serve.

On a personal level, the entire process of filming, from capturing elements and working in real-time to framing real-life, is an enjoyable challenge. I  love editing, particularly making a cut with an inspiring audio track. The first few reviews of a powerful piece is often a wonderful feeling of accomplishment, but the most fulfilling part of this process is when we receive positive feedback from clients. It is a great moment to find out that our hard work paid off and clients are satisfied with the product that we’ve created for them.

If I’m not at work, I am usually fishing or camping in the woods with my family. I also spend a good amount of the winter seasons in ice rinks across Alberta as a Ringette Coach for my youngest daughter’s teams.  Coaching kids is an amazing experience, and I am passionate about making a difference in their lives. I am also an active and proud supporter of multiple charities including The Mustard SeedCrohns & Colitis CanadaHockey Helps the HomelessLive Different, and the Royal Canadian Legion.

I have enjoyed sharing some insight about the things which matter to me and how they influence the way I do business.  As a father, an outdoor enthusiast and as a coach, everything I do, I commit fully to doing the best possible. As a producer, every project receives this same commitment and passion.

If you or someone you know could benefit from our expertise in video production services across Stony Plain, Edmonton, Red Deer, Calgary, and Fort McMurray, Alberta, I invite you to get in touch. Please visit our website at www.ambientfilms.ca.

Sincerely,

Stu
